Castellina in Chianti

An original Tuscan house in a typical Tuscan setting is probably the most suitable description for this object. The house is situated on the first floor of an ancient farm complex where the stables were situated on the ground floor. For lovers of the true taste of Tuscany, this very spacious apartment (130 m2!) is absolutely a must! All ingredients are present: a spacious kitchen with antique  fireplace, an even more spacious living room with adjoining bathroom, and, accessible via the authentic wooden staircase, the attic floor with two immense bedrooms. The borgo has been restored years ago preserving almost all original materials such as the beautiful antique terracotta floors, beamed ceilings and details such as the natural stone fireplace. The bathroom is so large that one could consider to realize a third bedroom and one or two smaller bathrooms elsewhere in the house. The atmosphere is all Tuscan right from the arrival over the short 'strada bianca'; Thehe tranquility of the olive groves (the owners enjoy the production of their own olive oil!), the beautiful landscape and 'lo vero stile di vita Toscano', where you can enjoy the best wines and delicacies with which this region made Italy famous. The old village of Castellina is 2 km away, but at less than 1 km you will find the first houses and a restaurant. Castellina is also one of the better accessible villages of the Chianti region: Firenze airport 45 min. Siena and San Gimignano 35 min. Pisa airport 1h30.
