Loro Piceno was founded by the Romans and is famous today for its great festas and recent accolades for the DOC designation awarded to its famous desert wine, Vino Cotto, which is the motivation for a rousing weeklong festa in the summertime. You can drive to Loro Piceno in 5 minutes, or walk there in 20. The provincial capital of Macerata is 20 minutes' drive and the Adriatic beaches are reached in 30 minutes. The Murola Vineyards are 5 minutes from the house and are a great place to pass an afternoon, or two. All shopping, services, sites, outlets, restaurants, etc. are easily reached from Casa Solare.

Casa Solare sits on an ample plot of 1 hectare. It is private, but not isolated. There are fruit trees and mature oak trees on the plot. The plot is easily able to accommodate a sizable pool, olive trees, grapevines and just about anything else you need to enjoy your share of La Dolce Vita. The road to the house is a town road. Access is excellent. Water and power run to the site.
