Genga

In the “Parco Naturale Regionale Gola della Rossa e di Frasassi” is located in the middle of the nature, on a tarmac road, the old stone farm house. The spacious parking space at this house is closed by an electrically operated gate. On the property of 7000 m2 there is an olive grove with approximately 60 olive trees of different varieties.

Interior

According to good practice, one enters at the back, through the patio doors, into the cozy kitchen with fireplace. Next is the large living room with two pieces double patio doors. The first floor consists of three bedrooms and two bathrooms another spacious light room where the main entrance also opens. The house has an intact pizza oven and a barn of 2x 40 m2. The house is connected to electricity, water and gas, has a satellite dish for TV and one for internet. The heating runs on gas or on wood in the fireplace. It is possible to take the water from the nature water source.

Location

The area is lovely for walking and cycling. The caves of Frasassi are a short distance away and well worth a visit, you will also find beneficial water sources there. At a 5 min drive you are at Valle Scappuccia with its untouched nature or Fossi with potable water source, the ancient Genga is beautifully restored. Or the castle of Avacelli at 15 minutes by car. A day at the beach is 45 km away. From Fabriano it’s a 3 hours traintrip to Rome. There is a supermarket at 10 minutes drive and several supermarkets and all kinds of shops at 20 minutes.
